The second edition of the Regional Workshop on Recent Advances in Environment & Forest Laws with Special Reference to Oil & Gas Sector is poised to be a significant event for stakeholders in the oil and gas industry. Organized by the Society for Petroleum Professionals, jointly with MoEF&CC, this workshop aims to address critical issues related to environmental and forest laws concerning the oil, petroleum, and gas sector, with a particular focus on the North-Eastern Region (NER) of India. The first workshop in 2019 addressed key environmental and regulatory issues, aligning with the Hydrocarbon Vision 2030 for Northeast India. Given the evolving landscape, a second edition is now necessary to facilitate stakeholder discussions and adaptation to changing requirements.
